my names Nikholas Greer, I am an Abstract expressionist and my mediums are Acrylic on canvas, spray paint on canvas and digital art.. I discovered art about age 15 and have been doing it ever since. I started out watching and drawing anime or Manga (Japanese comic book cartooning)and taking a few Art classes here and there in high school. It wasnt tell about senior year in high school. when i knew for certain that Art was the future I wanted for myself .So after I graduated from high school I started attending college to study Fine art and Art History. After about a year I found myself intrigued with chinese literati, Japanese Sumi painting and Ukiyo-e woodblock prints and still remain so. a little while later I became interested in Modern Art, abstract expressionism, non-objective abstraction, color field and action painting.Threw my studies I have gained influences such as, Jackson Pollock,Mark Rothko and Piet Mondrian.I cant really put a style or categorized name on my compositions as of yet but my goal is to create feelings and moods on canvas. What I can say is that my art is defiantly abstract and also an expression of myself and humankind.
